Acquisition of a three (3) dedicated MARPOL vessels to house all OSPAR equipment to enhance response and mobility. These vessels can also be tapped for limited firefighting, towing and search and rescue operations.

MARPOL Exercise with the Local Oil Company Depot/Terminal in Pandacan, Pasig River is slated on 1st week of October 1996.
Preparation is underway for the next MARPOL Exercise to be hosted by Indonesia in 1997.
